Accounting Software Setup
and Training

Hills Bookkeeping 4 U specialise in setting up your chosen accounting software to suit your business needs. Starting with your chart of accounts, we can make sure that your software package is customised to suit the products and services you provide, your individual business structure and the costs that your business incurs. Importantly, we will ensure you have the correct GST settings.

Michelle can provide one on one training in general bookkeeping if you wish to perform your own bookkeeping. We can provide training in MYOB AccountRight or Essentials, Xero or QBO Intuit.

We can assist you to manage your bills and invoicing to ensure your business is capturing all your claimable expenses, capturing the GST credits correctly and ensuring your invoices are sent out and paid in a timely manner.

Bank Reconciliations

We can assist with your bank reconciliations to ensure your accounting software captures all your business expenses correctly and allocates each transaction to the correct cost centre/account.

Payroll Services

Our payroll services ensure your payroll is performed according to ATO requirements.

We can take care of all aspects of your payroll – from processing payruns and payments to keeping track of employee entitlements such as leave and superannuation. 

We are very experienced and well versed with all payroll provisions and additions such as allowances, bonuses, and management of Child Support deductions, as well as filing Single Touch Payroll (STP) and finalising at the end of the financial year.

BAS Preparation and Lodgement

As a registered BAS Agent, we can prepare your quarterly BAS and lodge it with the ATO on your behalf.

If your business is registered for GST, you will need to prepare and lodge a BAS (Business Activity Statement). The BAS is required by the ATO to report and pay taxes including the goods and services tax (GST) and pay as you go (PAYG).

It is standard practice for businesses to lodge BAS on a quarterly basis. BAS deadlines usually come at the busiest time for your business and that’s where I can help. Hills Bookkeeping 4 U can prepare your BAS for an affordable fee, either in-person or remotely.

Hills Bookkeeping 4 U can also prepare and lodge your monthly Instalment Activity Statement (IAS) if this is part of your business requirements. The IAS lodges your PAYG tax to the Australian Tax Office (ATO).
